WHERE ONE CAN BUY TICKETS OF HIFE?

You can buy them:

* Throughout the Internet in www.hife.es.

* In HIFE tickets offices and in the authorized points of HIFE sale (see Sales points).

*On the bus

* By phone, calling at 902 119 814, from monday to sunday, from 6 h am to 22 h pm

 
HOW TO TRAVEL WITH THE TICKETS BOUGHT THROUGHOUT THE www. hife.es?

Once done the purchase of your ticket, you have 2 options:

1st.-To print the ticket at home and to show the document printed together with your ID card, NIE or passport to the driver, before getting on the bus.

2nd.-To annotate the number of pager and to present the number of pager together with your ID card, NIE or passport, to the driver, before getting  on the  bus.

If the ticket is bought by a person different to this that will travel, he or she will have to annotate in the paragraph "information of the person who gathers the tickets" the information of the person who is going to travel.  If not, it is not necessary to fill in this paragraph.

In the tickets acquired by Internet for minors who lack ID card, it will be necessary to reflect the ID card of the person who accompanies the minor, in the paragraph of the web saved for it.-
 
WHICH ARE THE CONDITIONS AND THE COST OF THE CHANGES AND RETURNS OF TICKETS?

- Changes of tickets:  it is allowed only one change for one ticket. If it is the change of hour or date the mentioned change will be free.
- Cancellations of tickets: the amount of the ticket’s cost will be returned deducing:
    * 10 % if it is requested with, at least, 48 hours of anticipation to the exit of the service. 
    * 20 % if it is requested between the 48 h and 2 hours previous to the exit of the bus.
In no case the cost of management will be returned.


HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO CANCEL OR CHANGE A TICKET ?

If it is necessary to change or to cancel the ticket the following conditions are possible depending on how it has been bought:

1. Changes and returns of tickets bought in travel agencies and / or points of sale HIFE (ticket offices):
 One have to go to the same agency and / or point of sale HIFE that  sold  the ticket  2 hours  before the  leaving of the  bus,    in case if the ticket isn’t  printed in the  ticket office. If the ticket is printed in ticket office, the only possible way to fulfil the operation is in the points of sale HIFE. One will receive back the cost of the ticket in the same form in which the purchase was done. In case when the ticket was paid by the credit card, the operation   will be effective in the maximum term of 2 days.

2. Changes and returns of tickets bought throughout the www.hife.es or www.movelia.es:
The modifications or cancellations of the tickets acquired thus will be able to carry out by the telephone of attention to the client of Movelia 902 33 55 33, always and when they are done as the maximum 2 hours before the leaving of the bus and on condition of that the ticket is not printed in ticket office. If the ticket is printed in ticket office, only it will be possible to do the operation in the points of sale HIFE. One will have to facilitate to the operator the information of his(her)ticket: NIF of the buyer and pager as well as the  information about the beginning and the ends of the operation of buying..
The credit to the account will be effective in the maximum term of 2 days.
 
ARE THERE ANY DISCOUNTS IN THE TICKETS ACQUIRED BY INTERNET ?

In the tickets acquired throughout www.hife.es only it is possible to obtain the discount of going and return.
If the select service admits some type of discount (large family, students' card, etc ...) only it will be applied in case the purchase is realized in: points of sale HIFE (ticket offices), or, in the agencies collaborators of Movelia, presenting the supporting documentation of discount.

 
WHAT IS THE DISCOUNT CARD OF HIFE, S.A. ?

It is a card that offers you DISCOUNT in your trips in:

     - Urban lines of Tortosa.
     - Inter-city lines of the Terres de l'Ebre.
     - Castellón lines and Valencia.
     - Lines of Tarragona - regular Lines to Barcelona

By means of this card you can enjoy discounts using it always for the SAME DISTANCE, choosing the type of bond - tariff (there are several to choose) that offers you a big discount for trip or in DIFFERENT DISTANCES where discount will be applied to all those distances, in which the price IS EQUAL OR LOWER of the chosen bond – tariff type. 
It can be acquired or recharged in the bus and / or in HIFE tickets offices of: Tortosa, Barcelona, Amposta and Castellón (C/Trinitat, 150).

The buying cost of the discount card is of 4 €, and it expires 2 years after the first recharge.
The balance of the card remains in force and you can request, in ticket office, to transfer it (balance) if you like,  in to a new card.

With every recharge or payment of distance, the canceller of bus or ticket office, indicates the available balance in it. The recharge can be done at any time, it isn’t necessary to exhaust the whole balance.

NOTICES: Nowadays, increases of tariffs take place in the transport by road, regulated by law. Once established you will have to pay the difference.  

FROM WHAT AGE CHILDREN HAVE TO PAY FOR A TICKET ?

The children pay complete ticket from the age of 4. If the accompanists, of the 4-year-old minors, wish the child to occupy a seat they will have to pay the complete ticket.
 
WHAT STOPS THE BUS IS ALLOWED TO DO ?

The bus is allowed to stop in the places established in the tour.
 
IS THE USE OF A BELT OBLIGATORY ?

The use of the belt is obligatory in all those vehicles that have them and, the user, is the person in charge of it use.
 
HOW CAN YOU WARN THE DRIVER ABOUT YOUR INTENTION TO GET OFF THE BUS ?

To warn the driver about your intention of getting off in a bus stop, you can use the bell or warn him verbally. Remember that it must be done in advance.
 
IS IT ALLOWED TO EAT, TO DRINK OR TO SMOKE IN THE BUS ?

In our buses it is not allowed either to  smoke or to consume food or drinks of any type.
 
UNDER WHAT CONDITIONS THE ACCESS TO A BUS IS RESTRICTED ?

If the symptoms of drunkenness or drug addiction of someone of the users are demonstrated the access to the bus will not be allowed to them. The purpose of this measure is to favour the safety and tranquillity of the rest of the users as well as of the work of the driver.
 
WITH WHAT ANTICIPATION ONE MUST BE IN THE BUS STOP ?

We recommend you to appear in the bus stop with approximately 5 - 10 minutes of anticipation of the time fixed in the time-table. Remember that  the best  and the most visible way  to show  a  driver that you are waiting for the bus is by rising your  hand, especially if a bus stop is situated in a place with  great abundance of vehicles.

WHAT ONE HAS TO DO IF HE OR SHE FORGOT OR LOST SOME OBJECTS IN THE BUS ?  

In case of losing or forgetting some objects or luggage in the motor-coaches you have to call by telephone 902 119 814 and facilitate the maximum information about the distance where it has been lost: origin, destination, schedule of the trip, etc ... and the characteristics of the luggage.
It is advisable the personal baggage labels with your personal information and address, at least, the one that goes placed in the trunk of the bus.
Before getting off the bus remember to get all your belongings out of the trays and the seats of the bus.
 
WHAT LUGGAGE IS ATHORIZED ON BOARD OF THE BUS ?

All kinds of the personal luggage are allowed, except those that contain dangerous objects or materials. As well as the objects that could harm the rest of passengers because of its characteristics and / or volume.

WHAT PETS ARE ALLOWED ?

Except the dogs that are guides of the blind persons who can go on board of the bus, domestic animals are allowed to be transported in the porter of the bus with their corresponding basket of transport and under responsibility of their owner.
 
CAN ONE TRANSPORT A BICYCLE IN THE BUS ?

Bicycles are allowed to be transported, as personal baggage, in the porter of a bus, providing that   the outstanding parts are dismantled (handlebar, saddle, wheels, etc ...) packed or isolated in order that they do not harm to the rest of baggage and if there is sufficient space for your mean of transport.
The current price of transporting a bicycle is 2 Euros.(the information dates back in January, 2010).
Another option of transporting it is invoicing, as parcel service, on board of the motor-coach.
