We put into circulation the first Km 0 biogas bus in Terres de l'Ebre
• The fuel will be generated from agricultural waste, livestock and industrial waste from the area.
• The vehicle will serve the Linea exprés.cat e3 and the regular line L1011, which connect Montsià and Baix Ebre.

We are putting into operation the first biogas bus in our fleet, a bus that will run on Km 0 energy, i.e. produced in the same geographical area. The vehicle will be refuelled at the Biometagas La Galera plant in Montsià, which generates biogas from agricultural, livestock and industrial waste in the area.
This is the first biogas bus to circulate in the Terres de l'Ebre region. In this way, we continue with our commitment to connectivity and the decarbonisation of the territory, promoting sustainability, the circular economy and the fight against climate change.
Two bus lines
The bus will serve the Express.cat e3 line (linking Tortosa, Amposta, La Ràpita and Alcanar) and the regular L101 line (linking Tortosa, Santa Bàrbara, Godall, La Galera and La Sènia).
It is an Iveco bus, model Crossway. It is about 13 metres long and has 63 passenger seats. The tank has a capacity of 1,260 litres of gas.
