HIFE brings its history and latest developments to the 80th edition of Expoebre
HIFE took part in the 80th edition of Expoebre, the leading multisector trade fair of Tortosa and the Terres de l’Ebre, held from April 30 to May 3, 2026, strengthening its presence at one of the main economic and social meeting points in the region.
On the occasion of this commemorative edition, the company had its own stand at the exhibition grounds, where it displayed two historic vehicles representative of its origins. Among them were a 1925 Chevrolet, an example of the earliest models designed for passenger transport, and a 1929 Peugeot, linked to the beginnings of regular collective transport. This exhibition allowed visitors to learn about the evolution of passenger transport in the Terres de l’Ebre and HIFE’s role over more than a century of service.
Over the four days of the fair, HIFE welcomed visits from various authorities and institutional representatives. Coinciding with the opening day, held on April 30 and presided over by Raquel Sánchez, President of Paradores, the stand hosted a symbolic inauguration ceremony with a ribbon-cutting, followed by an institutional cocktail reception.
Throughout the fair, HIFE energized its stand with an activity aimed at visitors, who were able to take part in a draw for two tickets to the musical The Lion King. To participate, attendees had to take a photo at the stand and share it on social media. This initiative was part of the presentation of a new product by the HIFE Tours travel agency: a customizable experience box that allows tailor-made gifts to be created for all kinds of occasions.
In addition, the Tortosa City Council launched a free shuttle service during the fair days, operated by HIFE, which facilitated visitor access to the exhibition grounds.
