La Ràpita will have a new urban transport service starting this Monday, May 25.
HIFE and La Ràpita Town Council will launch the municipality’s new urban transport service starting next Monday, May 25. This improvement will expand the current coverage and make daily travel easier for residents.
The new urban route will increase from the current 2 stops to a total of 11 stops located at different strategic points throughout the municipality, bringing public transport closer to educational, healthcare, sports, and commercial facilities.
The service will operate at fixed half-hour intervals, from Monday to Sunday, between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
The route will include the following stops:
- Carrer Sant Josep (La Fusteria)
- La Devesa Stadium
- Sant Joaquim (Condis)
- Institut dels Alfacs
- Carles III School and CAP Health Centre
- El Barri
- Lidl Supermarket
- El Garbí
- Trade Fair Pavilion
- Town Hall
- Sant Joaquim (Condis)
Among the main new features is the improved connection with Institut dels Alfacs, especially during student arrival and departure times, as well as the addition of a stop next to the CAP Health Centre to facilitate access to healthcare services.
The service will continue to operate with the same adapted vehicle currently in service, equipped with a platform for people with reduced mobility.
