MITMA Passes 2025
As of July 1, 2025, the new travel passes from the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MITMA) will come into effect, in accordance with Royal Decree-Law 1/2025. These new pass types replace the previous free pass and offer various options tailored to different user profiles.
Types of Available Passes
1. 10-Trip Pass (Multipersonal)
● 40% discount on the maximum fare.
● Can be used by multiple users.
● Valid for 1 year from activation.
2. Monthly Personal Pass
● 50% discount on the maximum fare.
● Personal and non-transferable.
● Valid for 30 days from activation.
3. Youth Pass (Ages 16 to 26)
● 70% discount on the maximum fare.
● For individuals born between January 1, 1999, and December 31, 2010.
● Requires Spanish nationality or legal residency in Spain.
● Personal and non-transferable. Valid for 30 days.
4. Child Pass (Up to 15 Years Old)
● 100% discount (free).
● For children born between January 1, 2011, and December 31, 2025.
● Requires Spanish nationality or legal residency in Spain.
● Valid throughout the second half of 2025.
How to obtain the Youth and Child passes?
To access the Youth (AJ25) and Child (AN25) passes, it is necessary to register in advance on the website of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility. Upon completing the process, a personal code will be generated which must be presented when purchasing the pass. This code is unique, non-transferable, and valid for interregional bus routes. Usage Control and Regulations
● All passes are subject to usage control to prevent fraud or misuse.
● The number of discounted passes per person is limited.
● In the case of misuse, cancellation may occur in accordance with the established conditions.
