New MITMA Single Pass
HIFE joins the Single Pass of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, a new transport ticket that will allow unlimited travel for 30 days on state-owned interregional bus services, including those operated by HIFE.
This programme will allow passengers to use HIFE’s state-run routes with a flat monthly fare, making mobility more accessible, simpler and more sustainable.
Dates
- Start of sales: 16 January 2026.
- Start of travel: from 19 January 2026.
- Pass validity: 30 consecutive calendar days from the selected start date.
What is the Single Pass?
The Single Pass is a personal, non-transferable ticket that allows unlimited travel for 30 days on regular road passenger transport services under the authority of the General State Administration.
In the case of HIFE, the pass is valid for any origin and destination within its regular state-owned services.
Single Pass price
- General Single Pass: €60 per month
- Youth Single Pass: €30 per month. (young people up to 26 years of age, born on or after 1 January 2000)
- Children under 15: free of charge, with mandatory prior registration
- Large family discount applicable
Where can the Single Pass be obtained?

From this page:
- Young people up to 26 years of age (born on or after January 1, 2000) must register to obtain their discount code
- Children under 15 must request their free-travel code

- Once registration has been completed, the Single Pass can be purchased through the sales channels enabled by the participating operators, including HIFE.
How is the Single Pass used on HIFE buses?
- The passenger purchases the Single Pass and receives a unique booking reference associated with the ticket.
- For each journey, they must purchase their ticket through HIFE’s usual channels (website and app).
- The ticket is issued linked to the Single Pass booking reference, at no additional cost.
- On the day of travel, the passenger must carry their ID card or NIE, as the pass is personal.
Specific conditions for bus travel:
- The maximum number of journeys per day is 4.
- If the passenger does not travel, the booking must be cancelled in accordance with HIFE’s cancellation conditions (With 24 hours’ notice, the tickets). Failure to do so may result in penalties being applied to the Single Pass.
